True World
Some things are hidden from the mind,
A truth we cannot see.
It's all around and in plain sight
But we all must be deceived.
It's for the sake of humanity
The true world to us is blind.
But it is there, this I can feel,
Burning in my mind.
Nothing we say, or that we can do
Can shatter this barricade;
That blocks the view of our true sight
So true world we cannot raid.
Have you ever felt you don't belong,
Or rather feel you're not complete?
Like you're missing something important to you
Or feel you're not who you should be?
That is your true nature, one you cannot see,
Because nobody could bear
To see their true form, or even believe,
For there minds it could possibly tear.
There is another possibility,
You have a other half.
For I've seen mine and we have pride,
For he's a wolf that's black.
His eyes shine gold in the moonlight,
His fur is soft and sleek.
He stands by me and never leaves
And gives friendship whenever I seek.
Though, sometimes, when I lose true sight
His form will disappear.
But I know, somewhere In back of mind,
That he is close by and near.
Your half could not be seen by me,
For it is all your own.
I think that you should search your mind
And try to make it known.
The world is vast and there are still
New places to explore.
And true world is one of the things
Hiding behind the door.
